Springtime 2020 will be remembered by us all for years to come, without doubt.
The clocks have gone forward, the weather is turning, the springtime flowers appearing, buds blooming, birds singing and bees buzzing – yet it all feels so unnatural for us. For this year, we are experiencing this from the safety of our own homes.
The Coronavirus pandemic which is hitting every corner of the world has changed dramatically the way that WE are experiencing springtime this year.
Staying at home, working from home, social distancing, going out only for:
- essential food shopping
- collecting prescriptions/medicine
- travel to work if essential
- exercise once a day
These measures may well be slowing us down, slowing down the spread of the virus but is not having any effect on Mother Nature and thankfully she is carrying on regardless. We however, are getting to spend more time in our gardens and maybe now taking time to witness the splendour of springtime.
